The Career Learning & Employment Center for Veterans is an Indiana-based non-profit organization that has focused on providing transition, job readiness, and career placement services for veterans, service members, and their military family members, since 2007. Like many Americans today, veterans trying to enter the workforce are struggling to find employment in a difficult and unprecedented economic environment. This has lead to an increased demand for the Center’s services.
The Center applied for a grant intended to defray the costs associated with remotely and/or virtually addressing this increased demand for their services. The Foundation board, impressed with the results obtained from a grant awarded in 2016, approved their grant request.
