As part of a long-term plan to provide the funding necessary to continually enhance the quality of the school, IUF/IUSB submitted a grant proposal which sought to name it, in perpetuity, the Judd Leighton School of Business and Economics. The Foundation’s grant consisted of two parts: a challenge gift to support the completion of the renovation of the Administration Building, including the creation of three experiential learning labs for business and economics students and faculty, and multi-year support for undergraduate scholarships, graduate fellowships, and specific staffing support within the school.
