The Indiana University School of Medicine-South Bend identified a need to expand and strengthen their third and fourth year clinical education program. The goal? To increase the number of IUSM-SB students who elect to remain in this community for their clinical education, and ultimately to keep more new physicians in the area after graduation.
Class of 2019
The Class of 2019 aspires to conduct cancer research, do transplant surgery and work in emergency medicine. As an ardent supporter of sustainable health initiatives in the community, the Foundation elected to fund this grant request with a five-year gift commitment.
