Shine: The Campaign for Memorial Children’s Hospital
As Memorial (now Beacon) Children’s Hospital evolved from a simple pediatric unit to the region’s only comprehensive destination for critically ill and injured children, they experienced patient growth which necessitated construction of a new and larger home. The Memorial Health Foundation submitted a grant proposal to us to aid in that construction.
As a longtime supporter of promising local healthcare initiatives, we granted their request. Today, Beacon Children’s Hospital treats children from 31 referring hospitals throughout Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan.
