Front Entry, Plaza and Education Complex

In 2018, the Potawatomi Zoo kicked off a 10+ year Master Plan designed to upgrade the infrastructure of the century-old facility, enhance the visitor experience, and solidify its position as a major educational and economic development asset in our community.  Phase 1 of the plan called for a new Front Entry and Plaza, and an Educational Complex that included a new gift shop and restrooms.  When completed, these upgrades will improve guest circulation and accessibility to the appropriate zoo ambassadors through construction of a separate entrance for field trips and group visits, and add revenue generation opportunities through increased gift shop, membership, and admission sales.
