Let Your Love Shine Through Capital Campaign
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Michiana provide a home-away-from-home for families with ill and injured children, allowing parents to remain an active part of their child’s treatment. In order to address a lack of space that had regularly resulted in a waiting list for families in need of overnight accommodations, they initiated a capital campaign to fund an expansion and renovation of the 1,500 square foot facility.

RHMC of Michiana is the only provider of this vital type of service in the community. The Foundation agreed to provide a general grant, joining with other local donors to provide the funds necessary to build out and furnish a new 15,000 square foot facility. This expansion allows RHMC to accommodate up to 20 families each night, from 3 previously, in addition to providing a host of invaluable day services including meals and showers, laundry, family room, kitchen and children’s play room access, and more.
