Momentum Entrepreneurship Hub
The Momentum Entrepreneurship Hub sought to build a transformative space to support and expand the South Bend-Elkhart region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. This dedicated facility would serve as a launchpad for startups and a resource center for scaling businesses, providing support for entrepreneurs through mentorship, funding opportunities, and a calendar of events including workshops and networking.
The Hub would target recent graduates, serial entrepreneurs, remote workers, and underrepresented groups including women and minorities. The goal- to mentor 75 entrepreneurs annually while building a community of 400 mentors by 2027.
A grant application was submitted to the Foundation to aid in the construction of the Hub. The Foundation, valuing the expected short and long-term economic impact of the project, approved a grant request.
